Voorhis began his oil industry career in 1975, roustabouting for Amoco Production Company.,, He has worked in drilling, production and reservoir engineering capacities
for Union Texas Petroleum Corporation's Permian Basin office; as the Rocky Mountain Division Corporate Reservoir
Engineer for Mesa Petroleum Co.; as a Technical Hearings Examiner for the Oil & Gas Division of the Texas Railroad
Commission; and, as a Research Engineer for the Texas Petroleum Research Committee.,,
Prior to forming David Voorhis & Associates, David served as the Managing Partner of
the petroleum consulting firm, ENHANCED CONSULTING.,, Dr.
Voorhis has a B.S. and Ph.D. in Petroleum Engineering, and an M.B.A., all from the University of Texas.,, He is a member of the Society of Petroleum Engineers (SPE). , Dr. Voorhis is a professionally registered engineer in the State
of Texas and is owner of DAVID VOORHIS & ASSOCIATES. |
